To commemorate St.Mary’s Day , St. Mary’s  School  Sector 46- B held a special morning assembly in reverence and devotion for the Mother Mary.  St Mary , the mother of God and the first among all saints, is the patron saint of this institution in whose name the Orthodox Syrian Church Society, Chandigarh  founded this school. The day started with  school prayer  followed by a speech  by  Ayushi of Class VIII A   presenting  glimpses from   the life history of Mother Mary. The whole atmosphere was engulfed  in reverence  when the school choir presented  a melodious song seeking  Mother  Mary’s blessing.  The assembly was addressed by the chairman of the school Fr Biju .P. Thomas who enlighten the students and the staff with the virtuous qualities of St. Mary  and talked about the three main virtues of Hers  namely Praying to God , Humility and Patience and urged the students to inculcate these  qualities  in their life too.
