St. Mary’s School, Chandigarh, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervour and enthusiasm to honour and appreciate the tireless efforts of the teaching fraternity.
The students of St. Mary’s showcased their appreciation through a series of performances, including heartfelt speeches, dance performances, poem and a skit dedicated to their beloved teachers. Engaging games were also organized for the teachers, adding an element of fun and interaction to the celebration, further strengthening the bond between the staff and students.
The Chairman, Rev. Fr. Aji. K. Chacko, reminded everyone of the profound impact a teacher has on a student’s life. He commended the teachers of St. Mary’s for their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in education. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adapting to the changing educational landscape to meet the needs of modern students.
The Principal, Dr. Martin Das Rao, who expressed his deep gratitude towards the teachers for their unwavering commitment to shaping the future of the students. In his speech, Dr. Rao emphasized the crucial role educator’s play in society, calling them the “architects of the future” and recognizing their efforts in instilling values and knowledge in the next generation.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of teachers, who were awarded for their dedication and commitment to education. The gifts and cards were presented to the teachers as a token of appreciation.
