St. Mary’s school celebrated Independence Day with great vigour to honour the sacrifices made by great men for the country and encourage patriotic feeling among the students. The students participated whole-heartedly to present colourful cultural programme. The entire school was decorated with various works of art by students.
Honourable Chairman Fr. Aju Abraham accompanied by Principal,Dr. Martin Das Rao and members of the management committee unfurled the tricolour followed by the National Anthem. It was really a treat to the eyes to see the students marching while keeping pace with each other. The students presented patriotic Group Song, Patriotic dances and speeches. Chairman, Fr. Aju Abraham appreciated the consistent endeavours of our armed forces in protecting our country bravely. Principal, Dr. Martin Das Rao urged the students to realize, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation.
