Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school cabinet was formed at St.Mary’s School and the investiture ceremony was held on Saturday,6th May 2017  in the school premises.

Major Reuben Paul Mathew was the chief guest of the function. The function  was presided over by Rev Fr.Yakob Baby, the Hon’ble Chairman of the school. The Principal Mr.Jose P Thomas,Hon’ble office bearers & the members of the managing committee were also present on the occasion.

The chief guest and  Hon’ble  chairman  conferred various titles to the students for different positions of houses and clubs,  Vinay Kaushik  and Shagun Sharma were elected as Head Boy and  Head Girl respectively .The Headmistress Mrs.Mini Jose administered the oath to the members of the cabinet. In his Presidential address, the Hon’ble Chairman blessed the students and urged them to  become more focused in their goals and to inculcate leadership quality to become a better person in life .In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in  activities like these. He also congratulated the newly appointed  school cabinet members for their preparedness to take responsibilities.

The Principal thanked the Chief Guest  and congratulated the students and asked them to be role model for others . A beautiful dance performance was presented  to make the day special.

The newly elected Head Girl  Shagun of Class X proposed the Vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the National anthem .
